APSA CHARITY AGM

Chair Dianne Reid receives a bouquet from APSA supporter and fundraiser Sally Long

The APSA charity AGM was recently held at Rumores in Albox. Details of income from the shop, collecting tins, donations and fund raising events were given, as was information on expenditure regarding the many dogs in the care of the charity.

The homing of dogs, neutering programme, stall at Los Llanos market, the pantomime and fashion shows and the excellent website (www.apsa.org.es) were seen as the successes of 2011. The development of moving to the new shop in Avenido Lepanto will hopefully help to raise the profile of the charity as well as providing more funds in 2012. Volunteers are always needed, particularly regarding fund raising. Please ring 663 762 642 if you can help in any way. The meeting finished with warming drinks in the bar as the volunteers were all tired from preparing the new shop!!
