TRAC MEETING AND WALK

TRAC MEETING AND WALK

On Wednesday 18 January the International Marina Club Bar in Torrevieja was full to capacity with members and visitors for the Torrevieja Retired Activities Club [TRAC] Meeting.

There were around 70 people present to enjoy a talk by Graham Knight on the history of Torrevieja combined with a visit to the Salt Museum. This meeting proved to be very successful and everyone enjoyed the talk and learned new things about our local town. The visit to the Salt Museum was extremely interesting and seeing all the exhibits on display people were able to relate to the talk.

On Saturday 21 January members of TRAC met at La Zenia on for a walk along the coastal footpath to Cabo Roig. The weather was absolutely perfect for this walk and everyone was enjoying the company and making new friends. The route was chosen by the Club's Secretary, Neil, and was ideal for a leisurely stroll on a Saturday morning. Mainly on level ground, the walk was about an hour each way with a stop for coffee at Cabo Roig overlooking the marina.

TRAC meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 11.00am at the International Marina Club in Torrevieja and everyone is welcome to come along to the next meeting. Please contact Neil on 965 008 087 for more information.
