LA SIESTA CHURCH YOUTH CLUB SUPPORTED BY QUESADA MINI GOLF
On Friday January 20 la Siesta Church Youth Club was invited to Quesada Mini Golf, a long time supporter of the youth club.
The trips are always at no charge to the youth club and provides a good night out in a safe environment for the young people. This occasion was no exception. The young people had a fantastic time with over 20 attending. The competition is always fierce and on Friday the trophy went to Rebecca Holt, closely followed by Taran Carter-Scott and Elise Macgregor. At the end of the evening Rick and Lisa Mentessi, owners of Quesada Mini Golf, had yet another surprise in store; they regularly run a raffle for the youth club and on Friday they announced that their Christmas raffle had raised a fantastic 400€.
In addition to Quesada Mini Golf a special thank you goes to Casa Blanca Ladies Club, BUFFS 10671, the Tuesday Bingo Club, the Tuesday Auction and all the regulars at Quesada Mini Golf for their most generous contributions. On the night Rick and Lisa had yet another surprise when they provided a planted pot to be raffled and which raised an additional 40€.
Maggie Dew, la Siesta Youth Club Leader said, “We are so grateful to Quesada Mini Golf for all the support they give us, both through their regular fund raising and through letting us use their facilities free of charge. The money they raise enables us to buy supplies for the youth club and take the young people on outings throughout the year.”
