GOD BLESS THE CHILDREN

Rascals have had a busy time raising money and gifts for local children's

Associations. 1,200 Euros was donated to APANEE from ticket sales at the Virgen del Carmen together with 70 Chocolate Father Christmases for the children.

A Party was held for the students of ALPE and gifts, drinks & cakes were given out.

A carol concert was held at San Luis Square in aid of AMFA, a new charity in

Torrevieja which is the Association of the Physically Disabled. 360.44 was raised

and Rascals will make that up to 400.Euros.

Rascals did not forget the old folk. They provided gifts for the residents of the Los Jardines de Clara pensioners home in Torrevieja and sang along with members of Age Concern and Cathy Carson to the music of Just Brass.

They also went along to the Age Concern dinner to entertain the old folk there.

Time now for a rest before the 2012 variety show rehearsals, which begin on January 12th.
