STOLEN PROPERTY SMUGGLER CAUGHT
The National Police in Alicante have arrested a 32 year old Algerian man, as he tried to board the ferry to Oran with a van load of stolen property.
Upon investigating the cargo carried by the man, officers found four motorbikes, which had been cut into smaller pieces for shipping, an outboard motor, jewellery, watches, mobile phones, eight game consoles, seven cameras, sixteen computers, seven laser surveying equipment and GPS receivers, twelve radios , two televisions, three bicycles and various tools.
Police believe that all the items had been stolen in France and were being shipped to Algeria to be sold on as parts.
