TAPAS AND ART COMBINE IN LA MATA

The tapas trail will soon be taking place in Torrevieja but unfortunately it does not reach as far as La Mata. To put you in the mood for the Tapas Trail, local La Mata restaurant, The Lemon Tree, located close to the Torre del Moro, have joined forces with local artists Jim and Jan Barry to present their 'Good ARTernoon.'

Dave and Kathy from the Lemon Tree have put together different Tapas creations for your gastonomic delight with tapas and a drink just €2.50 while husband and wife team Jim and Jan have been busy painting away over the last couple of weeks to put together an art show for you to enjoy, or indeed purchase, while you enjoy your snack.

It's just for three days, Friday through Sunday from 13.00-16.00 and the following week the restaurant shall start to open for lunches as well as their usual dinner fayre. Get into the Tapas mood, go along and enjoy art and tapa at the Lemon Tree in La Mata.
