ROYAL BRITISH LEGION, TORREVIEJA BRANCH.

We are now beginning a three busy months, which will include two outings in October; the Annual Poppy Appeal and the Remembrance Service, plus the Annual General Meeting in November. Christmas will not be far behind.

The next Branch Meeting will be on Friday 14th October 2011, at Casa Ventura Complex, San Luis, for a prompt 1930 hours start to the Meeting, which usually lasts for 60 minutes. Afterwards, there will be a chance to purchase a meal and drinks, followed by a quiz and/or other activities thought up by your Entertainment Member.

Please endeavour to attend if at all possible, so we can provide everyone with an update and future plans. New Members, male or female, will be welcome; you do not require a service background to join. Please make yourself known to the Secretary (that's me) or Membership Secretary, Pauline Grindlay.

We would also like you to start thinking ahead to the AGM if you are at all interested in joining the Committee. We need more ideas, suggestions and contributions from Members and becoming an understudy to an existing Committee Member is a useful way to become involved and will also provide additional cover for illness and other unforeseen occurrences.
