BRIT KILLED IN BENIDORM RTA

A British woman has been killed in Benidorm after being knocked down whilst crossing a road in the town centre.

The EFE news agency said the accident happened near the crossroads with Avenidas Filipinas and Mediterráneo at around 10.30am on Wednesday some 10 metres from a zebra crossing.

The woman's identity has not been released but it is know that she was resident of l'Alfàs del Pi, was aged 76 of Asian origin and had a British passport.
