ENTRE NARANJOS MISSES THE BUS

Entre Naranjos in the older days

A new minibus service, connecting the Orihuela Costa with Orihuela city, will start a three month trial in October, as one of the ways that the transport and road infrastructure is being improved by the new council body.

However, in a reflection of times gone by, the village of Entre Naranjos has been forgotten by the town hall planners, and it will not be served by the new service.

John Reynolds, the once appointed mayor and widely supported representative of the people of Entre Naranjos, albeit now largely also ignored by the new elected representatives of the Orihuela town hall, has started a campaign to open dialogue to try to get the bus to serve this popular, though now becoming increasingly ignored, urbanisation.

Mr Reynolds has arranged to speak to the town hall to try to get the matter resolved before the service starts.
