PARTY IN QUESADA

PARTY IN QUESADA

The sun shone down for two days of fun in Quesada on Saturday and Sunday, when the Exite Radio team took the radio roadshow to this popular area of the Costa Blanca.

Frankie Walker and Kirsten Mackay, two of the newest members of the daytime line up, set to take their place on radio from next Monday, played the songs, requests and dedications to the eager revellers at this summer weekend event.

Some of the party goers had only arrived in Spain a couple of hours before the festivities began, which was a welcome surprise for them.

Kirsten also entertained everybody with her stunning and faultless vocal performances of a number of great songs, before leading the crowd in a happy birthday sing-a-long for Sharon, who turned 55 on Monday.

The Zumba dancers with Zumba Cindy helped us work off a few summer pounds and even the FREE bouncy castle, kindly provided by www.bouncybouncy.es, was a huge success with the kids, including the biggest kid of all, Mark Nolan, who couldn´t resist entertaining himself!

No roadshow would be complete without the ritual of the conga, as everybody danced along to some great old party classics, before the train of the conga, which grew bigger and bigger, motored around the bustling businesses.

All of those businesses, including The Property Shop, Halfway House, The Card and Gift Shop, Big Girls Blouse, Quesada Real Estates, Sapphire Properties, Johnson's Supermarket, Mulberrys Restaurant, The George Pub and Ibertech Computers all arranged the event, as a thank you to their ever loyal clients for supporting them for so long.
