THE VELVETONES HARMONY CHORUS

At Wednesday's rehearsal at El Paraiso it was an occasion for the Velvetones to sing “Congratulations” as well as “We'll Meet Again”.

Elaine Jacques, (centre) who sings bass, was congratulated on her forthcoming marriage and presented with a bouquet. Her fellow bass singers gathered round to give her a good send-off.

Eileen Clark, who sings tenor, has been with the chorus since 2005 and is returning to live in England. The Velvetones thanked Eileen for her commitment to the chorus. She has been a loyal member and has played an important role in all activities, both musical and social. Eileen received our good wishes for her new life. Eileen (far left) was also presented with a bouquet.
