EN ARMON�A CONVENTION

San Pedro del Pinatar is hosting the third annual convention of the Spanish Association of Barbershop Singers (SABS) from 8-11 April 2011. Choruses and quartets from all over Spain will arrive to compete in two contests and appear in two public shows, to promote and encourage newcomers to this unique art form.

Spangles kick-started the event by appearing at the Centro Comercial Dos Mares (who are En Armonía sponsors) yesterday, performing to shoppers of all nationalities and generating a lot of interest. Photos are attached (courtesy of Mike Prentice).

The quartet contest is at 9.30 pm on Friday, 8 April and the chorus contest is at 10.30 am on Saturday, 9 April at the Castelar College in San Pedro del Pinatar.

SABS will donate a percentage of the show profit to local charity, MABS Cancer Support Group, Murcia/Mar Menor, so we would like to see all the tickets sold. Any help that you can give us to publicise the event would be greatly appreciated.
