CAN YOU PLEASE TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN !!!
Yes we still remember what it was like to be young and bored and hanging around street corners and parks. But what we did not do was vandalise these areas.
We all came to Spain to relax and enjoy our lives and try to live comfortably and content on our pensions etc.
But we now seem to have gangs of youths, ( and to our shame), mainly English, who seem to be hell bent on kicking in electricity cupboard doors, smashing up park areas and anything else they can vandalise. They show a lack of respect with their shouting and bad language for local residents and their property.
Please, if you have a teenage son or daughter, can you explain to them that their fun in smashing anything up that they can, results in us having to dig deep into ever decreasing funds to pay for the repairs.
Or maybe we can send them to where you live and have them sit outside your property, swearing, spraying graffiti and smashing whatever they can. Or is it a case of ‘as long as it's not on our doorstep'.
