THE LUCK OF THE IRISH

After a week of wet, windy & cold weather the sun shone brilliantly on Sunday for the Daya Nueva St. Patrick´s day celebrations.

The parade of Irish & Spanish residents were led by The Torrevieja Pipes & Drums and in the afternoon the spectators were able to bask in the sunshine whilst being entertained.

The Pipe Band commenced the entertainment by playing a selection of Scottish tunes and the drummers gave an excellent drum display devised by their drum major Steve Attwood-Dawe.

Once again the crowd were delighted with the display of highland dancing given by Mark McMillan.
