PP EXPECTED TO MAKE GAINS IN VALENCIA

A new opinion poll of voter intentions next May has found that the Partido Popular is expected to win sixty seats in the Valencian Parliament next May -- six more than at present.

The poll also found that the Socialists would lose five seats and only have 33 MPs in Parliament, whilst EU would have six seats and the Compromis Party would not even reach 5% of the vote, and therefore would have no MPs.

The poll also found that support for the PP was on the increase in all three provinces of the Autonomy.

What was also made plain in the poll was that the voters are paying no attention whatsoever to the possible court procedures against Francisco Camps the President of the Valencian Autonomy, with 51.2% prefer him as President as opposed to just 21% who would prefer Valencian Socialist leader Jorge Alarte
