GOOD TIMES ARE BACK AS DIVA INDIAN RESTAURANT REOPENS
With the grand re opening Playa Flamenca's popular Diva Indian Restaurant is celebrating almost ten Years of Success.
Now firmly established as a legendary part of the region's culinary make-up, Diva has a bright, fresh feel as it continues to grow in fame for its incredible gastronomic offerings and it's convivial atmosphere.
With the launch of a new menu incorporating a variety of fresh and exciting dishes Pritpal is able to welcome back old and new customers as the restaurant continues to suit all occasions and budgets.
Diva was first opened by Pritpal and his family back in 2002, when there were only four Indian restaurants within 15 minutes of Playa Flamanca. Three years later Pritpal counted 100! “We opened at a good time,” he says. “With the competition from the other restaurants our business initially dropped slightly, but everyone soon came back to us again. So we can't complain. I expect this coming year to be one of the best.”
Pritpal has been involved with Indian restaurants for 30 years so he knows the business inside out. His ‘hands on' approach and ‘friendly manner' have given Diva an unbeatable reputation. He had restaurants in and around Glasgow, before moving to Spain. The family's move and the setting up of the business was regularly featured in the successful BBC2 series Living the Dream, which has now run three series in which viewers were able to follow the progress of Diva and its sister restaurant La Diva, in Los Alcazares.
Diva is situated in Playa Flamenca, on the ground floor of the Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre, just off the N332, behind Supercore. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and is open every evening, 7 days a week, from 6pm.
Diva serves all your old favourites, and as part of the re opening promotion the restaurant is offering a value for money two course early bird menu for just 7.95€
The dishes are tried and tested and the customers always seem to return to the restaurant for more. Pritpal says that they have a number of customers who have been coming in every Friday evening since it first opened and with the continued value for money that the restaurant is still able to offer it is a sure thing that they will all be back once again this coming season.
When asked why the restaurant continues to be so successful Pritpal said “Our success over the years is due to our high level of customer service, the good quality of food and the happy atmosphere in the restaurant where many of the same staff have been employed since our opening all those years ago.”
