RESURFACING WORK CONTINUES THROUGHOUT TORREVIEJA

Torrevieja's Councilor for Works and Services Torrevieja, Javier Montoro, reported that during this week and next, work will continue resurfacing streets and avenues in Urbanizaciones Torreta III, Lago Sal, El Salado y Los Altos del Limonar.

Montoro has indicated that in these neighbourhoods the streets are still missing a short stretch of Calle Manuel Rodríguez ‘Manolete', Calle Rafael Molina ‘Anole' Paco Camino and Calle Calle José Paya Parodi.

This week resurfacing work will begin in Torreta II y Torrealmendros, Almendros, Pensamientos, Margaritas, Gardenias y Germanias, specifically the streets: Almendros, Thoughts, Margaritas, Gardenias and germanium.

Development work has also started in Torreta Florida, on Calle Hermanos Quintero, Calle Clarín, Calle Miguel de Cervantes, Calle Vicente Aleixandre, Avenida Unamuno, Avenida Federico García Lorca and Calle Ramón María del Valle Inclán. Work has also begun preparation, marking and drilling of Zone 4, in particular the developments Doña Inés, Jardín del Mar y Residencial Azahar del Mar.

Javier Montoro commented that surveying studies are being conducted in these areas, for further development. This study will allow improved water pipelines, correcting their current flushing patterns and eliminating puddles and pools of water currently produced at the Carrefour, Centro Comercial Habaneras and Jardín del Mar. This week resurfacing work will start on Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas.
