  1. Torrevieja is Britain with sunshine. I live in Spain and I’ve learnt the language, but in Torrevieja I hear mostly English. The area is flat and uninteresting, nothing like rural Andalucia where I live.

  2. Depends what you’re looking for:Clubbing: Pascha. Or drive west 15 mins to cabo roig good craic there, harley bar, bushwacka, the living room stays open really late and is cool. Attractions: Terra Mitica theme park in Benidorm (1hr east)!About 1hr west theres cartagena and the sea had natural mud which is really good for your skin – you get in and get yourself a bucket of warm mud, plaster youself in it, wait a while and then wash it off. . . lovely!Shopping: Murcia theres a great shopping centre, cant remember the name and its qiute far away. Torrevieja has good enough shops anway.

  3. I agree with you Torre is not the most exciting place in the world but as someone else has said there is a lot to do and see if you are willing to drive. You do have terra mitica about 90 minutes away get on the ap7 and head towards alicante then follow the road to benidorm (remember this is a toll road) also you have terra natura which personally i think is better. You have got Habaneras shopping centre just outside of torre next to Carrefour. Elche has got a palm museum and some beautiful parks also if you go in to the old town its a great place for shopping or just sitting in a little cafe having a glass of wine and tapas. If you want you can also go to the cinema in torre as they now give you head phones so you can watch all the films in english you have to give them 20€ deposit but you do get that back. if you want to go clubbing there is pacha or kko in torre they both play mostly house music but dont go before 1am or you will be the only person in there. Murcia is a nice place to visit the shopping centre there is nuvea condumina and its next to the new Murcia football stadium. i hope this helps a little but as you have not specified what you want to do and see its hard to tell you everything there is

  5. There’s always great stuff to do in Spain. I live near Fuengirola, an area which also has its Bistish Ghetto’s but you don’t have to dig deep, or travel far, to find great Spanish culture, or loads of things to do. Here’s over 100 ideas for things to do within 100km (60m miles) about an hours drive of Torrevieja. http://www. yougodo. com/en/things-to-do-in-Torrevieja/Search. aspx?l=2510253&d=100 Get out there and find the fun!
