MAFIA LEADER STUNG IN ORIHUELA COSTA

The National Audience has condemned the leader of Russian –Georgian mafia in Spain to seven years in prison. Zakhar Kniazevich Kalashov was arrested on the Costa Blanca in the “Operación Avispa” (wasp). The group is accused of money laundering. One clear example of how he did this was that he bought a house in Playa Flamenca, Orihuela Costa, in 1995 for 210,000 euros and sold it ten years later for 870,000 euros. Kalashov will be offered freedom after having served 75% of his sentence, on the condition that the leaves Spain and will not return for 10 years.
