During his visit to the site of the International Conservatory of Music Auditorium of Torrevieja on Tuesday, accompanied by the Mayor Pedro Hernandez Mateo, Camps also explained that the construction of the complex has “generated and maintained 1200 posts of work.”
The minister also emphasized that the new building will become “a reference centre for the world of culture and leisure.”
The project was designed by the architect José Marà a Tomás Llavador and will have a floor area of about 16.000 square meters for a Chamber Symphony and Chamber Hall, Annex Building and Conservatory.
The conservatory will have an orchestra and choir room and classroom spaces for teaching of individual instruments and classroom teaching of chamber music.
It will also house study booths, an electronic music lab and have a library, video library and a sound library with reading room.
